Volunteers are an integral part of the operations at House of Mercy.  Men and women donate their time on a flexible basis providing residents with meals, rides to appointments, and social activities.  Former resident Richie Fullbright and Volunteer Becky Raxter (pictured at right) enjoy the front porch at House of Mercy.

Volunteer activities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Cooking meals

  • Visiting, playing games, and reading with residents

  • Running errands

  • General housekeeping

  • Lawn and garden maintenance

  • On-site laundry/ironing

  • Participation in special events or activities

  • Assisting with fundraising events

  • Clerical duties
