Stock Transfer Instructions

Wiring instructions for transferring stock to House of Mercy:

1.    Notify your broker to wire the stock to the House of Mercy account using the information shown below.

2.    Send a letter to Smith Barney at the address below confirming the transfer, the transfer amount, and that House of Mercy is the recipient of your donation.

3.    Contact Stan Patterson at House of Mercy to notify him of the stock donation.  This step will help ensure that House of Mercy confirms your contribution and is able to send a tax receipt for the acknowledgement of your gift.  Stan's contact information is shown below.

Upon receipt of notice of the transfer, House of Mercy will sell the stock, and the donor will be credited for a donation amount equal to its value on the date that the stock was transferred to House of Mercy.
