Residence News...

House of Mercy residents are looking forward to the holidays and sharing meals and celebrations with volunteers.  Thanks to the Charlotte Prime Timers who delivered a carload of items for the residence along with financial donations.  Abbott Laboratories generously donated 15 cases of nutritional supplement.  Faith Victory Ministry and God's Temple of Zion Church brought all the fixins' for a Thanksgiving feast.  Residents and staff also appreciated a gift of five handmade quilts from the Belmont Abbey College Quilting Program.

The Metropolitan Community Church of Charlotte and The Tradesmen hosted Christmas parties and caroling with the residents.  ID Associates from Gastonia brought goodies to House of Mercy on December 2nd and held a Christmas party for the residents.  Their entire office and friends brought gift cards for our recreation program and items on the House of Mercy Wish List.

Thanks to our many supporters who brighten the lives of House of Mercy residents during this holiday season.
