On April 29, a group of volunteers from Hickory grilled hamburgers and hot dogs for the residents.  Everyone ate outside, enjoying the food, company and new patio furniture.  The outdoor furniture was purchased with donations from the St. Joseph Catholic Church Angel Tree and Asheville Catholic School.

Resident activities this month have also included trips out for shopping, visits with friends, movies, Chinese food, and early voting!

Our thanks to volunteers from the Green Acres Garden Club for sprucing up the grounds and planting flowers at House of Mercy in April.
